How to free yourself, self-wilding, find freedom, regain balance

Just so you know, some of the resources I recommend here may earn me a small commission if you happen to buy them. This helps me with some of my expenses. Be reassured, I only recommend what I consider to be worthy purchases.

Is this you?

Are you connected to the universe? Does it guide you in attracting your life’s desires – unhindered by cultural norms?

Or, is this something you are seeking.

Meditation as a Self-Wilding resource

Meditation is a no-brainer in getting to know your true self and obtaining freedom from internally or externally imposed lack, limitation, and failures that undermine you in everyday situations.

Meditation will not only help you identify your baseline fears and limitations, but serves to uproot their causes, or at least enables you to “change channels”. Your lack, limitation, and failures fade into the background.

There are so many benefits of meditation with the most profound arising through daily practice.

If you are new to meditation or are wanting to learn or even to get to the next level…the resource I have used and I now recommend is the Live and Dare meditation courses, seen here. These are self-paced and remain available for you to go back and refresh yourself anytime that you feel the need. Access it from your mobile phone, desktop, or other devices anywhere and anytime.  Below is a synopsis of the available courses.

A 6-week Beginner Course to develop the habit of meditating daily

meditation, self-wilding, how to free yourself

The lessons are online and start with a meditation session as short as 2-min. This incrementally increases to where you are meditating 15-20 minutes in a single session. The idea is to start small and increase your timing so that it becomes easier to do. The main learning is to make it a daily habit. The course includes tricks into how to include it as a daily practice.

Each week the course introduces a new practice (such as mantra meditation, breathing awareness, chakra meditation) and by the end, you will know the technique that best suits you.

The lessons are designed for you to easily learn and the result will be a lifetime daily habit that will bring out the best in you.

As well, you’ll be able to integrate mindfulness into your daily life using prompts, exercises, and daily challenges.

The Celestine Prophecy: An Adventure

by James Redfield

This is a fictional story that delivers factual messages. It’s one to read if you are open to change and personal responsibility or growth and are looking for advice to help you get where you need to be. See it here.

Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck

by Mark Manson

If you like straight-to-the-point language, you might find this one inspiring. Manson considers that negative emotions are feedback, like a call to action. They have a purpose. And, it’s how we endure them and our willingness to live and confront them by dropping the blame game and accepting what you need to do that makes us better equipped. The message is it’s okay to be negative because everything sucks some of the time. Just get on with doing just the smallest simplest thing and from this will grow your motivation for going further. See it here.

Wild and Free: A Hope-Filled Anthem for the Woman Who Feels She is Both Too Much and Never Enough

by Jess Connolly and Hayley Morgan

This will appeal to women who follow biblical faith. The sense is that God is wild and free. It is inspiring. It talks about “freedom from the cultural captivity that holds us back”, which is interesting since a majority of people consider organized religion as the origins of much of the cultural captivity in our society. See it here
